24/7 Towing in Raleigh, Durham & the Triangle
Stopped on the I-440 Beltline? Car won’t start in a deck at Southpoint or a lot in Research Triangle Park? Williams Towing Fleet runs 24-hour towing across Raleigh, Durham, RTP, RDU Airport, Morrisville, Cary, Apex and Holly Springs. Call (919) 230-4498 and a real dispatcher answers, day or night, weekends and holidays included.

We are a local, family-run towing company built for Triangle roads. Our trucks work the same highways you drive every day, so when you call we already know the exits, the shoulders and the fastest way to reach you.
Flatbed and Wheel-Lift Towing
Every vehicle is different, so we bring the right truck for the job:
- Flatbed (rollback) towing – the whole vehicle rides on the bed with all four wheels off the ground. Best for all-wheel-drive cars, lowered or luxury vehicles, EVs, classic cars and anything that can’t roll.
- Wheel-lift towing – quick and nimble for tight parking decks, apartment lots and driveways where a long bed won’t fit.
- Motorcycle towing – secured on the flatbed with proper tie-downs.
- Accident and breakdown towing – we clear your vehicle from the scene and take it to the shop, home or storage location you choose.
Not sure which you need? Tell the dispatcher your year, make, model and whether it’s all-wheel drive. We’ll send the right truck the first time.

Accident Towing and Scene Cleanup
After a crash, the last thing you want is a long wait on the shoulder. Once police clear the scene, we load your vehicle, sweep up loose debris that came off it, and take it where you need it – a body shop, your home, or secure storage while you sort things out with your insurance company.
We’ll give you a detailed receipt for your records, and we can talk with your adjuster about where the vehicle is and how to get it released. If the car can’t roll, has locked wheels or is missing a tire, we can still move it with the right equipment.
Breakdown on the Highway? Stay Safe Until We Arrive
- Pull as far onto the right shoulder as you can, or take the next exit if the car is still moving.
- Turn on your hazard lights. At night, leave your parking lights on too.
- On a busy road like I-40 or US-1, it’s usually safest to stay buckled in. Only get out if you can move well away from traffic, behind a guardrail.
- Note the nearest exit number, mile marker or landmark so we can find you fast.
- North Carolina’s Move Over law requires drivers to move over or slow down for stopped emergency and tow vehicles – but don’t count on every driver doing it.
What Happens When You Call
- Call (919) 230-4498. Give us your location (an exit number, mile marker, cross street or dropped pin all work), your vehicle, and where it needs to go.
- Get your ETA and price up front. The dispatcher tells you who is coming and roughly when, and quotes the tow before a truck rolls. No surprises.
- Stay safe while you wait. On the highway, stay buckled in with your hazards on, or move well away from traffic if it’s safe to exit the vehicle.
- We load and secure your vehicle. The driver checks the vehicle, loads it with the right equipment and straps it down properly.
- Delivered where you want it. Your shop, dealer service department, home or anywhere else you choose. Pay by card, cash or mobile pay.

Towing FAQ
How much does a tow cost?
It depends on the distance, the vehicle and the situation. Call (919) 230-4498 and the dispatcher will give you a price before sending a truck.
Can you tow an all-wheel-drive car or an EV?
Yes. AWD vehicles and most EVs should ride on a flatbed with all four wheels off the ground, and that’s how we tow them.
Can you take my car to my own mechanic?
Absolutely. You pick the destination – your mechanic, dealer, home or another location.
Do I have to be with my vehicle?
Not always. If you give us the exact location, keys arrangement and a phone number, we can often pick it up without you there. Ask the dispatcher.
